Not sure what to say?

I was just thinking about Katie the other day when she crossed my mind. Although our relationship was brief and a professional one, the light she brought is unforgettable. I hold the family and Jim in my heart and pray their live paths have found a way to continue forward. With love and grace to you all

You are on all our minds now that a year has gone by. Thank you for making it clear, that you are not far, that you are near, all we have to do is reach for you, you are there, you and those beautiful kids. Love you Katie, XoXo Di

Dear Carol and Labe,

It was with sadness that I learned of your loss. I pray that God comforts you and your family during this time.

Labe and Carol,

You were wonderful neighbors when we all lived on Bowman's Mill Rd. I am so very sorry for the devastating loss of your daughter and grandchildren. Please know I am keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Katie was one of my closest friends - we met in San Francisco training for a marathon together. We became fast friends, bonding over long runs. Even though we've lived far apart the past several years, we have remained close - even vacationing together with our families. I will always treasure Katie and all our times together - she was truly an amazing person and a wonderful, caring, thoughtful friend. My heart aches for you, Jim - I am speechless and saddened beyond comprehension. Love...

My thoughts and love are with the family of Katie J., a special friend and teammate. I have many fond memories of our time at Taft and spending time together in San Francisco. I love you, Katie J.

Another name from the distant past. I was Katie and Phelp's nanny for the school year 74-75 in Lexington. I have such wonderful memories from that year. My heart aches for your family and you will all be in my prayers.Becca Simpson, Louisville, Ky

Labe and Carol,

Those in the Bluegrass are heartbroken over you loss. Your distance and new home do not keep us away from thinking of you and sharing your grief. Our love, Lendy and Darrell

Dear Carol & Lab..I am such a distant name from your past but I just want you to know how very sorry & sad I am to learn of your daughter's passing. I did not know her but I am sure she was a wonderful, caring person whose life has been cut way too short. Just wanted you to know I have you & your family in my thoughts & prayers.
