Miss Katie has been a kind and sincere friend over the 30 plus years I have lived in Bayou La Batre, Irvington and Grand Bay. She always greeted me with loving concern and an uncomplaining heart. I didn't see her very often.. in later years we visited only at Christmas or if we happened to run into one another here and there. I'll miss her a lot..I'll see her again later, I hope.
