BEST, Katrina P., of Richmond, entered eternal life on February 8, 2009. She was preceded in death by Edith Epps and Alice Best. Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Miracle, Kyla; one son, Kyshawn Brown; her parents, Perlene Best and James Massenburg; three sisters, Joanne Best, Latania Fountain, and Wilmenia Cole-Patrick; four brothers, Vernon (Jacinta), James Epps, Jermaine (Chanele) and Arlando; devoted fianc‚, Harold J. Richardson; two best friend, Marquetta Brook and April Risper; a host of relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, 7 to 8 p.m. at the Brunson's Funeral Chapel, 1st and Federal St. Homegoing services will be held Saturday, 1 p.m. at Gospel Baptist Church, 2317 Harvie Road. Dr. Keith Manuel, pastor, officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Robert M. Brunson Sr. and Jr. directors.

I am sorry about the loss of Tina. I know that it has been many years since we've seen or talked to each other but Tina will still be missed. You all are in my prayers.

To the Best Family, Katrina was a childhood friend that we grew up with and we remember that she could make you laugh w/ her favorite words being (oh my land). she loved everyone the same. If you came in contact w/ her all you could do is love her. Katrina you will be sorely missed but we know there is more work for you to do up there. we wont take for granted this precious time we have here on earth so Thank you for being a special person in our lives.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.I grew up on Que street and Edith and i was best friend and went to school together. Perlene i am SORRY for your loss.

I am TRULY Sorry for your lost. Tina wasn't only a wonderful mother, daughter, or sister, she was also a very good friend. She had a heart of gold and could warm the heart of anyone she came in contact with. She will be missed and know that healing is a process so stay in prayer and keep GOD first and your hearts will heal with time.

Tina was a wonderful person. She would always be there for you if she could. She would open her home to anyone and always wanted peace and harmony. She loved life regardless of what was thrown to her. She was the friend you could count on to lift you up.
