Not sure what to say?

Katrina and I went to Florence Drake, Dilworth, and Reed together. I knew her, though we ran in different circles. I always remember singing, "Soldier, Soldier, Won't You Mary Me?" in 4th or 5th grade for some assembly. I don't recall what the holiday was, but I remember standing on the choir riser singing with the rest of the class in the multi-purpose room of Florence Drake while Katrina fetched the coat, hat, boots, etc. from the chest. I don't know why I looked her up today. I am...

Dear Pete,
I am so saddened to learn of Katrina's death and the experience you are going through right now. The most distressing and enduring grief of all griefs, according to the pioneering book Death, Grief, and Mourning, is a parent's grief for a grown child...the loss of future expectations and the shared past and the utter untimeliness of it all.
I can only imagine how difficult this must be, but know you will handle it with the same courage and grace that is evident in ever...

Ed & Judy,
No words can heal the hurt for the loss of your daughter, but God in his wisdom, always picks the most beautiful flowers for his heavenly bouquet. We didn't know Katrina personally, but knowing her parents as we do, she had to be one exceptional lovely young woman.
You are always in our thoughts & prayers. We love you.

Your friends,
Jim & Pearl

I had the pleasure of working with Katrina at Harrahs many years ago. Everyone loved her, as she was VERY loveable!!!! Great laugh, great personality, just a sweet girl. I was so sorry to hear about her death because she did SO not deserve this!!
She will be forever beautiful, forever young, and forever in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
My thoughts and prayers go out to her family: I am so sorry for your loss!!!

My thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family. May she rest in peace. The one thing I will always remember about her was in highschool, and her crazy laugh. Now she is laughing with the angels.

My dearest sister, from the mermaid kisses to the ben-gay toothpaste to the beautiful love you showed all, I will miss you. Your giving spirit and non-judgemental ways I become inspired. I will miss you and will love you forever. The pain you had is gone and we will help Beau thru his. Ja Volim Vi. Now redecorate heaven with style. Your Brother

Katrina - You were a gift to so many and you will never be forgotton. The only thing that gets Eddie and I through each day is that we know that we will be with you again someday. I promised you that Beau will be okay, and he will. You have so many great friends and a great family that will now watch over him on earth and I know you are watching over him in heaven. He is such a great young man and it is because you were such a great Mom. We love you and miss you so...

Our condolences to Jon and the family. Katrina was a very sweet lady. We are saddened by your loss.

I am Peter (Katrina's father) first cousin and only barely knew her, but still I know she was a great lady and my heart goes out to everyone in the immediate and extended family.
