Not sure what to say?

I never met you Mrs. Danforth but I heard wonderful things about you. You'll be greatly missed. Teresa looked up to you so much. She always talked about you. She misses you terribly. I think Teresa is probably much like you. You raised a wonderful daughter. And I know she wants to make you proud.

My sincere condolences to Ernie and the Danforth family, as well as to everyone else who loved her. I met Kate through NYSMATYC and had the pleasure of serving on the board with her. She was an outstanding educator, through and through - a role model for those of us who came into the profession after she did. Hoping that your memories help to ease the sting of her passing now and during the difficult days ahead. Fly high, Kate.

I am saddened to learn of Kate's passing. My sympathy goes out to Ernie and to the Danforth family. Kate was a good friend that I first met many years ago through NYSMATYC. Kate was an excellent teacher, as indicated by the prestigious teaching and service awards that she received. Kate also worked hard to improve her community, as is evident by the many committees and boards she served on. In addition to this, she was a wonderful and warm person. I will miss seeing her smiling face at...

I was saddened to hear that Kate has passed. I served with Kate on NYSMATYC'S board and I valued her input and hard work.I will always remember Kate as an outstanding person and mathematics educator. May she rest in peace.

My sincere sympathy to the Danforth family. I had the privilege of sending Kate a few items for the MYSMATYC archives. We will long remember how wonderful she was, as a person, as a family member, and for her service to Math Education and many other important parts of our human civil lives. From a NYSMATYC charter member.

I am so sorry to hear that Kate has passed away. She always had so much energy and enthusiasm at the NYSMATYC meetings. She always made new people feel welcome at NYSMATYC. I will miss seeing her at the meetings. Please accept my condolences on your loss.

I was so saddened by the loss of such a beautiful person. Katie and I were good childhood friends and I could always count on her to be there. She was such a kind and generous girl and someone who I cherished. Katie spend many weekends with my Mother and Uncle at the "house boat" on the Eric Canal. We fished in the summer and ice skated in the winter. She was so smart and full of fun and the memories are heart felt. Katie was no only a friend but a mentor, even then, to me always...

My deepest condolences to you, Ernie, and your entire family. I will remember Kate for her deep passion for NYSMATC, AMATYC and mathematics and education. I know she was very proud of everyone in the family. She displayed great sensitivity for all whom she encountered while having the ability to state a problem explicitly and offer solutions. She will be greatly missed.
