Katy Lysdahl

Katy was a great, great lady. A genuinely kind person always eager to brighten my day. Katy did that more times than I can remember. She made me feel like part of the Lysdahl Family. That was a privilege that will always stick with me. I could just be myself around her. Even now she brings back so many fond memories. I still recall the immense love she had for her family. I met Katy when I was young and she and her son moved into Bowles when she married Don. I played with Jimmy who was a younger than I was. I last saw Katy when she attended the graveside services for my dad who had been the teacher and principal of Bowles Elementary School until we moved to Fresno in 1951. My greatest sympathy to Jimmy and other family members.
