We just heard about Kay´s death and are heartbroken. Kay and Larry were our dear friends when we lived in San Antonio. She and I worked together at Incarnate Word. We stayed in touch through the years...she adored our firstborn daughter and even came to her wedding 25 years later in Charlottesville, VA. Kay and I shared our love and work for the betterment of young children. I always respected her work through the years. We will keep her memory alive in our family. We send condolences...

I am saddened to have lost Kay as a mentor. Living nearby in Houston, I had the added benefit of her Southern hospitality complete with a garden and gourmet meals. It was a life with everyday celebrations. Sharon Young
