Vaughn and Family,
I was so sorry to learn of Kay's death. It is so hard to lose a loved one. Reading about her love of the sports sure brought back good memories.. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers

Vaughn,
My heart aches for you, you two were such a tandem. Kay is such a wonderful, loving, kind, sweet, person. Memories have swelled in my mind since I heard the news about Kay. I will never forget how excited dad was when you joined him in going to Elko over the fourth of July weekend years ago. You are still a shinning star and mentor to many, may God bless and comfort you in your loss at this difficult time. We love you and your family, and will pray for peace and the comfort and...

Sending love to the whole Alvey family. Your moms love will be with everyone who she has touched. I cannot make the funeral but wanted your family to know how many people care about you in your time of loss.

I've always adored Kay, and loved her calm kindness, and compassion. She was a great example to me and my children of grace under fire. I'll be forever grateful for the love and support both Vaughn and Kay showed to our family.
Love,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you as we all mourn the loss of such a wonderfull woman. Kay has been such an example of love and strength for all who ever met her. She always had a kind word or a friendly hello to any and all who crossed her path. We miss her already and know that she will be fondly remembered as a pillar of faith and courage as she fearlessly delt with her challenges while maintaining her love and compassion to the end. May the Lord bless the Alvey family during this...

Kay Alvey is someone that I think of often because she made a lasting impact on my life. She is my favorite Young Women leader that I ever had and I also babysat her boys many times. When Kay and Vaughn came to our ward in Holladay she was made the leader of our Beehive group. We had a big active group and she was really not that much older than us!! She took the time to gather all the girls and "kidnap" us in the early morning hours when it was our birthday and take us to breakfast at...

We're so sorry for your loss. What a sweet, sweet woman she is, and will be missed by many. She was one of the first people to welcome us to Pepperwood, and helped to make us feel included.

love,
