Mrs. Kay Ann Bosley Edwards, age 69, of Toccoa, passed away Monday, August 13, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Born July 1, 1949 in Des Moines, IA, she was the daughter of Marcella Ann Allen Bosley McAlister and the late Harold Eugene Bosley. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and was retired from Stephens County School System. Kay enjoyed going on cruises with her family, her Dulcimer Group, crocheting for the Tiny Stitches Charity, and spending time with her 3 granddaughters. Family members include her mother, Marcy McAlister; husband, Gerald Edwards; daughter and son-in-law Emily and Benny Slate; son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Heather Edwards; grandchildren Haley Edwards, Autumn Edwards, and Molly Slate; sister and brother-in-law, Raye Jean and Dr. Keith Blauer; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jay Allen Bosley. Funeral services will be held at eleven o'clock Saturday, August 18, 2018 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Andy Childs officiating. Entombment will follow at Roselane Mausoleum with the Rev. Jerry Stowe officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; George Sanders, Rev. Bruce Moore, Ernest Melton, Rev. Jerrell Beatty. The Earl Rochester Small Group will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 4pm – 6pm Friday, August 17, 2018. Flowers are optional. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the Church or Charity of choice. I am so sad to hear of your mothers passing. I worked with her for 3 years in a medical office and loved seeing her smiling face each morning. I will miss her greatly. My prayers and love go to you all.

As I sit here and type this, my heart is broken. I miss you so much Mom. All I can think about are all my childhood memories of growing up with you and Dad. You were the best. I love you mom. Till we meet again.
