Kay, you will always be remembered in my heart with love and laughter. If I can strive in this life to hold one ounce of your giving, loving spirit...I will consider myself to be very lucky indeed. I am so sorry I was not there for you the day you left us. I will never forgive myself for not fighting to keep your spirit on this earth. I hope you have found your Mike and are driving with the top down towards a beautiful sunset, finally together again in peace.

I was a junior and high school friend of Kay's. We were a part of a group of girls that participated in many activities at school and church. I have fond memories of our times together and the thoughs and hopes we shared.
