Not sure what to say?

Kay was my editor at the Northern Star in the early '60s. She was a wonderful person, full of enthusiasm for life. Luckily, we met again a few years ago at a Star reunion and she hadn't changed. It was a pleasure to know her. God bless.

Dear Ric,

I am so saddened to read of Kay's passing. As an NIU alum and former Northern Star News Editor, I will always remember her joyous spirit, her easy laughter and her ability to turn out a good story.

Your lives were graced with her presence and will continue to be so by memories of her.

God Bless

Rick,
I so remember our days in Sycamore with Kay's house right across from the high school - a great gathering place for all of us.
Then we both became interested in journalism - and gardening. The best way for all of us to honor Kay is to cherish those memories.
Peace
Bob Hill
