Kay Lemonds-Mattar

Mike, I did not realize I knew your wife until I saw her beautiful picture. I served on the planning commission at the county during the time your wife was on staff. We also shared a mutual acquaintance- Susan Verdun. I did not have much interaction with your wife, but I recognized her as soon as I saw her picture because of her lovely smile. Sharing in your sadness during this difficult time.

As kids, Kay showed me what sacrifice and grace looked like in friendship. Eternally, she and her examples with be a part of me.

What a blessing it is to have known Kay and her gentle, beautiful soul. She was the epitome of kindness, caring and dignity. She was charming and I always enjoyed her sense of humor. My condolences to her family, especially Michael, Millard and Calvin.

I sorry to hear about Kay's passing. I worked with her at GCMPC briefly and attended her wedding. I thought she was beautiful and nice. Condolences to her family, friends, and former co-workers.

We met Kay, Mike, and her sons who volunteered for the Angels Outreach Ministry. Our events were the Easter egg party and Christmas party for the children in the community. Kay always gave the parents a care package. We will always remember her smile and her caring for others. She had such a good spirit. Thank You Mattar Family, Deacon Anthony & Susan Verdun
