Not sure what to say?

I was 17ish when I first met Kay and Cary (1975). Their realness and solid walks with the Lord and down-to-Earth grounding shaped me from then on. Kay's wisdom and kindness was burnished with her wit and trumpeted with her wonderful laugh. She, Cary and their lives were foundational bricks in my life. We are deprived of her company for a short while, but she and Eternity beckon. God's blessing on all that she has gone on before. Imagine that smile and laugh when we see her again.

She was always very friendly and a very special friend to me and so many at the Church and I have been very blessed to know her

Kay was such a hoot to bearound. I loved her laugh and easy spirit. A beautiful sole.

I have never met anyone like KK. She never said an unkind word to or about anyone. She was full of joy and brought happiness everywhere she was. She loved the Lord with her whole heart, and a friend that can never be replaced. We love you KK!

46 years of friendship. You loved me and my family unconditionally!
The memories just keep running through my mind. I have laughed and I have cried, but most of all I have thanked the Lord over and over again for the wonderful gift of your friendship.
And yes, we will be together in heaven for eternity to celebrate together with friends and family.

My dear friend of over 40 years, I will miss you. I will remember you on our birthdays that sit next to each other, and will be very thankful for all the times we laughed, and laughed! Your joy made us all laugh. I’m so thankful God let us be friends and the gift to work together for 40 years! Can’t wait to see you again so we can laugh and laugh again. My heart is with you Cary, Kymra, Jason and families. I know she will be greatly missed until we are all together again! Love you all.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Abbe and I were very sad to hear this news. Our memories of sharing holidays and celebrations with the Kay and her family will always be treasured. We will always remember Kay for her generous spirit and tremendous sense of humor. May Peace be with the Maycumber family during this time.
