Not sure what to say?

I liked Kay's smile. Genuine. Very kind man. I was his Hometeacher for a few years and enjoyed talking to him and his wife; they were always courteous, respectful, and I felt good in their home always.

I was Kay and Renee's home teacher and immensely enjoyed talking with them as an older couple. His yard, home and office were immaculate in condition and represented a quality man. His ability to connect with others was quite remarkable. I really loved both Renee's and Kay's smiles. What an exceptional man he was and still is, in heaven.

I was so sad to see this obituary in the paper. I am so sorry for your loss. What a great man, your family is blessed to have him be part of your lives.
I worked with Rep. McIff on several pieces of legislation while he served in the State Legislature. He was always thoughtful, helpful and a gentleman whenever I worked with him.

My Grandfather Elmo R. Herring and Kay were very dear friends.
Kay spoke at my Grandfather's funeral many years ago and did an amazing
heartfelt job. Our entire family loved Kay and admired all he had accomplished in his professional life as well as personal.
We feel very blessed to have had him as a long time family friend.

Our deepest condolences to his sweet family.

I have known Kay since high school days at Manti High School. I was a classmate of brother Dr Bruce and Kay was a year behind us. We all played ball together. As a professional Kay has been our legal help. He has done a great job in keeping us on the right track and has been very good to us, I was proud to have him as our friend, lawyer and state representative. Our condolences go out to the family, you have a great heritage. May God bless you all. Sincerely Tom and Sharon Anderson

Remembering Kay and all the McIff family from our young years in Sterling. They were a remarkable family and special friends. Nice to know his achievements and contributions to society. Gary Marx and Dolores Marx Yates

I do some lobbying work on the Hill. Kay was wonderful to work with, a great thinker and fair man. He was always a gentleman and always took time to listen to all sides. He was thoughtful and kind in all that he did. My condolences to the family. Our family will be keeping you in our prayers.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. In 1975 Kay was our home teacher. He made it possible for us to buy a substantial home for our growing family. While he was in the Stake Presidency it was my privilege to serve on the High Council. We shall always remember him and Renee as the stalwarts that they were, have been and will be forevermore.
