Growing up next door to the Mitchell family meant that Kay was like a second mom to me. She scolded me when I needed it, included me in her family activities, helped me in Rainbow Girls and always had my best interests at heart. I know she is hanging out with her husband Jim, my mom and dad and all the others that have gone on before her. They are laughing about old times and sharing all the news about their families. You will be missed Kay! Thank you Polly and Lucy for sharing your mom...

What fond memories I have of all the Rainbow events that I attended with Kay. She was a great example as Mother Advisor to the Rainbow girls and I especially remember some of the fun Grand Assembly trips. My thoughts are with Lucy and Polly and the granddaughters.
