Not sure what to say?

Still miss you, Grandpa.....

Dad welcomed me as his daughter when I joined his family. My parents were not members of the church and my most precious memory was when Dad graciously gave me a Father's blessing when I needed some extra inspiration.

I saw his work ethic when he would visit at our home as he never seemed to be able to sit still. He would always offer to help or add a hand.

He worked hard in his career and in his service to the church and I'm sure he is giving his all as he serves Heavenly...

I will never forget the summer I spent with Grandma and Grandpa in San Luis Obispo. I went swimming everyday and Grandpa took me to the mall every week because I was out of books to read and wouldn't touch the Louis L'Amour's.
Another favorite memory is when I arranged a tour of Gossner Cheese for grandpa with the head cheesemaker when I worked there.
It has mattered a lot to me that he has followed my career over the years and been a source of encouragement. I always wanted him to...

Best summer I can remember was the one spent with my Grandpa Nilson bailing hay. He gave me so much credit for being able to "keep up with the boys" I will sorely miss you Grandpa!

To the family of Kay Nilson: I serve as a sealer in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and had the privilege of working with Kay on many of the sealing sessions he attended. For a period there, he was in the temple everyday of the week and would serve as a proxy for 3 hours or more. We often were able to build a session around him. For the period of time he was serving in the OMT, he was proxy for literally hundreds of names of the deceased. He was a joy to work with. We also shared a commonality in...

When Uncle Kay would come to visit us, he would always tell stories of his adventures. I learned a lot about places without visiting them. I didn't have a lot of contact with cousins, but appreciate Brad helping with my daughters wedding in Wisconsin. Great family with quality heritage. God bless, strengthen, and uplift you in your time of need.

Sorry to hear about the passing of Brother Kay Nilson. I had the opportunity to talk with Kay several times in 2015 about history, especially about the Church in Vermont. He gave me some wonderful information about the early(1950's - 1970's) Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, New England Mission, Vermont District. It was a joy to speak with him.
