Kay J. Stocker, 86, of Pen Argyl, passed away, Thursday, September 30, 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Charles A. Stocker, they celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary, September 17, 2021.
Born in Wind Gap, December 15, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Alice (Dennis) Smale.
Kay was employed as the bookkeeper for 25 years for Bangor Blouse and ended her career at Fashions by Danielle before retiring in 1997.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Pen Argyl and the former Zion Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir at Zion Methodist Church and taught Sunday School at both Zion and Grace United Methodist Church.
She was also a member of the Pen Argyl Women’s Club, UNITE and was a Brownie Leader.
Kay was a 1952 graduate of Pen Argyl Area High School and was a faithful supporter of Pen Argyl Football. She enjoyed playing tennis, walking, line dancing, having lunch with her former classmates and co-workers and Saturday morning coffee with her friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Kris A. Baker and her husband David of Wind Gap, three grandchildren, Randi Lynn Fulmer and her husband Robert, Bryn Timlin and her husband Robert and Sydney Baker and her fiancé Adam Wujcik, three great grandchildren, Raelynn and Robert Fulmer and Remy Timlin, nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Sweet and two brothers, Russell and James Smale.
Funeral Services will be held, Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 11 AM at Grace United Methodist Church, 404 E. Mountain Avenue, Pen Argyl. There will be a viewing beginning at 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM, Thursday at the church. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Pen Argyl. The Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, Pen Argyl is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered in Kay’s name to Grace United Methodist Church, 404 E. Mountain Avenue, Pen Argyl, PA 18072.
