Kayla,
Still missing you daily ~ Love, Mom

Kayla,

Mom

Kayla,
Today will be 2 years since you left. My heart still hurts for you every day. I miss you so much but I know that Jesus is taking care of you for me until I can be with you. This is the only thing that keeps me going. I wish I could be with you now but I guess God has other plans. I love you always.
Love, Mom

My heart hurts with yours...I know the pain so well. I, too, lost a daughter in a traffic accident. I believe that talking is so necessary, and it helps to talk to someone who 'knows'. Feel free to contact me any time-I would love to get to know your precious Kayla....

I have known Kayla since I went to East Bethel Community school. I know i'll sound like a broken record, but she DID put a smile on everybody's face. She would always go to my old best friends house (Patrick Mc Cain) while i was there and from then on we were really good friends. I last visited her about a month before everything happened, and she promised me the next time I went to her house she would teach me how to play the guitar. Kayla touched many people that I didn't even realize would...

Sixteen years you graced this world with your presence
Laughter always at your wake
Sweet as a flower
I'll never forget you

It only seems like yesterday
When we were trying to pass time in class
Giggling up a storm
Never finishing our work

How can your work here be done?
You were only here a short while
So much more I could've learned from you
And now your gone

Your laughter will haunt...

I did not know Kayla nor her family, but often visited the Subway where Kayla and her sister worked. It is a great loss when we lose a loved one, especially one so young with so much living left to do still, but she was here to teach us something and learn from her, so now that is what we have to do, remember her well and in your hearts she will forever live on.
She is gone way too soon, to all that knew Kayla, her family and friends, to all trying to find a way to get through these...
