MASHBURN, Kayla S. – Of Mt. Morris, age 25, went home on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Hurley Medical Center.


Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.


Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.


In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.


Visitation 11 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.


Kayla was born in Fletcher, North Carolina on February 19, 1994, the daughter of Kerry Sparks and Fred Mashburn.


Kayla worked for Creative Foam in Fenton.


Surviving are husband, Dwayne Williams;


children, La’Niyah Mayfield and Dwayne Mashburn Williams;


mother, Kerry Sparks of Swartz Creek, Michigan;


father, Fred Mashburn of Cincinnati, Ohio;


siblings, Eran Lacewell, Ean Sparks, Carrington Burt, Vonda Mills and Darryl Mashburn;


many nieces, nephews and cousins.
