K.C. and I were good friends at Ft. Leonard Wood 1956-58. We were on the post football team and we both were starting defensive backs. When he was discharged, he called me up from L.A. Rams training camp and did not know if he would continue with football or play basketball. I said if I were him, I would lean toward basketball.
