Not sure what to say?

My wife and I are in Cusco Peru on a mission so I am just learning of the passing of my dear mission president. He was a great help to me on my mission. I am so happy that we were able to visit him just before we left. President Allred is a great man.

My sympathy goes out to the family during your time of grief. May God's loving-kindness comfort you and help you through this difficult time (Psalm 119:50,76).

I'm sorry to learn that President Allred died. What a wonderful man he was. I'm grateful our paths crossed when I was a missionary in La Paz and as a student and later a professor at USU. He had a positive impact on so many of us. I'm sending all my best regards to the family.

On behalf of the Familia Pimentel, I submit Elder Pimentel's sympathy to the Allred family: "Stan saludos, por favor hacer llegar mis sentimientos a la familia del Presidente Allred, gracias. Amigo"

We stayed in contact over the four decades since he returned home by attending our annual missionary reunions. He was always in attendance, unless called away on another mission or missionary related assignment. Even then, we'd place a call just to have him share a few words of wisdom and his testimony while we gathered around the phone.

Kieth was a good friend and colleague for many years. I especially enjoyed a long visit with him last fall at my brother-in-law's funeral (Wade Dewey). He was a great man!
