Keith E. Barze

I was deeply touched to read in Keith's death notice that I had been honored to have been designated as an honorary pall bearer. I first met Keith in 1945 when I entered the University of Alabama. We remained best friends for the rest of our lives. It was he who first discovered and introduced me to my wife, Polly. He was best man at our wedding and through much of our lives. He and Nancy were always ready and willing whenever I needed a morale boost.
