Not sure what to say?

Keith was a very kind person. He always took time for other people. He was an excellent musician and I know that he has had a special influence on others to play music.
I will miss him.

Keith,
Before this guest book closes up, there is a little more I want to say. I believe you had a quiet charisma about you, and a zest for music and for Life, that excited those who knew you. And I think Bill hit the nail on the head when he said, " I think that comes from being around someone whose light shines so strongly from within, as you did. "

Keith was one of the best guitar players I have ever met, and a great friend. My fondest memories of Keith are when he would be walking down the road, between his house on Ward, and his mom's on Philpot. We would shoot the breeze out in the back yard for 20 or 30 minutes, talking about what was happening in our lives, about the music scene, and catch up on what all of our musician friends were up to;who was playing where and things like that.He always seemed to know what was happening around...

I have been a fan (groupie) of Keith's since I was around the age of 12. He and Tony Walker would be jamming in Pear Tree Park, which has been replaced by a Church, at the corner of Oakwood Ave and Maysville Road, where many of the neighborhood children used to all come and listen to them play. From that point on I have been influenced by Keith's musical ability and the introduction to The Blues. Man could that guy play. At all the jams at Tom's or Ed's, his house and ours, and when we would...

Keith,
I can't believe I can't talk to you now like we used to. I was so happy to write you that letter. It made me feel so much better.
I thought many, many times in the past how lucky I was to have you as a close friend.

Your Friend forever,
Warren Rutledge
