Not sure what to say?

My sympathy to the many friends and family of Mr. Biler. He became our Band Director at the beginning of my sophomore year of high school(Rossford H.S.) I have rarely seen a leader have such a rapid and powerful positive impact on a musical ensemble. He was not only a superb musician and teacher, he was an example of how one dedicated and skilled person can make a dramatic improvement in a public high school. My career as a professional organist was influenced by his encouragement to major...

Mr Biler was my band director at Rossford and he made band fun and memorable. My son is currently a high school senior and in band and I relive my days marching and playing in concert band every time I see my son perform. Its been 30 years since my band days, and my memories of those days, and Mr. Biler are still with me. R.I.P.

So sorry to hear of this wonderful man's passing. I was a student of his 1982 -85, and will never forget Wind Ensemble or Marching Band! His song is in my soul. Prayers for his family.

My thoughts and prayers are with Mr Biler and his family. He was an institution in Rossford Ohio. I'll never forget every home game slapping him a high five before we took the field. RIP Mr.B.

Sincerely Yours,
Neil A MacKinnon III
Mayor of The Great City of ROSSFORD Ohio

I am saddened to learn of Mr. Biler's passing. My experience in the Woodward band still serves me today. He was a great teacher!

Mr. Biler started teaching me how to play the saxophone when I was 10 years old. Over the next 8 years not only did he guide me toward becoming a talented musician, he taught me life skills that I cannot thank him enough for. I often tell people that my fondest high school memories are from band, and that he was my favorite teacher. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear about Mr. Biler, he was my band director at Rossford High School. He really shook things up when he came and made us an awesome marching band and strong at State competitions in concert band! Prayers of comfort for his family.

The best teacher I ever had. He taught us life...not just music. He cared about all of us and I am grateful to have known him. Prayers to his family.

Sorry for your loss. He truly did bring out the best in his students. I was one of those students and feel Blesssed to have had him as my music teacher at Woodward.
