Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Keith's death. We were great pals back in the early 1970's when we worked together at the Florida News Bureau. A fellow Marine, we lost touch after he moved to Macon and I moved to Chicago. I am glad to see he never lost his love of life. And if anyone knows about the wonderful Irish Setter he had back then, they will understand when I say: "Birds Beardsley, Birds!"

I have some very fond memories of Keith during the Capricorn years and remember him as a kind, witty, gentle and genuine person. I was so happy to see him at Frank Fenter's induction to the Georgia Hall of Fame some years ago. He hadn't changed and our reunion of friends was amazing. Rest in peace, dear Keith. You brought light to the world. Condolences to his wife and family.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I'm so sorry for your loss. Keith was a great guy and always had great story to tell.

Keith lived life as a perpetual adventure. Working, walking, putting emotions on paper or canvas, and exploring the entire universe. All roads intensely pursued and fellow adventurers were always welcome with his heartwarming smile. I am very grateful to have shared some adventures with him and will sadly and greatly miss him on the road ahead. Best to you JoAnn and the family. Fred H.

Always ready with a broad smile, sparkling eyes and an appropriate witticism, Keith was a joyful presence in our lives. He was a great conversationalist, and a kind and gentle soul. He will be missed. With Love, Cousins Arlene and Cynthia

This is a picture of a marvelous person who graced planet earth and all he was dear to in so many spectacular ways as he journeyed through his extraordinary life. I feel lucky to have known him in the minimal time our paths crossed (we were significant others of first cousins). I am sorry for the great loss to his devoted JoAnn but marvel at the most lovely perspective she takes in testifying to their many years together. Yes, he will be sorely missed but may the pain of that so definitive...
