Mr. Currie was one of my 6th-grade teachers at Post Elementary School back in the early 80s. He was a great teacher with an even better sense of humor. Mr. Currie was kind and one of those teachers that kids gravitated toward. Back then, Mork and Mindy was a popular sitcom and Mr. Currie looked like Mork (Robin Williams). Most of his students called him Mr. Mork. Rest in peace, Mr. Currie and thank you for being a fantastic teacher.

Keith and I taught together at Post School in the late 70´s-early 80´s. He was a caring teacher for the many students from the north side. Tuesday nights were filled with basketball games at Gila Vista Gym. We grew up on the same 10th Avenue neighborhood block. Your tin shed in the back was dented from all the rocks we threw from the alley. It used to drive your dad crazy mad! I hope you are resting in peace as I play one more Gary and The US Bonds hit in your remembrance. Duncan Phillips
