Not sure what to say?

I don't know if there are any of Keith's and my dear friends who will visit this site before it is taken off, but I wanted to let you know that I am doing well on this first anniversary of his death. I thank you for your calls and visits and concern this past year. I have learned that, sifting down through all the layers of our busy lives, what is most important and remains constant are family and friends. Thank you for being that "bedrock" for me.

Someone sent me a sympathy card...

Hi Mary,
I feel like I know you so well because of Keith and his kind words of you.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. No words can express what you are going through.
Keith was the BOMB. He was funny and smart and the kindest fellow I know.
He always made everyone around him feel like they were special.
Again, I was so shocked to hear of this news.
Thanks for sharing him with all his friends here at Accenture and Best Buy.
If there is anything I can do...

I met keith when I was 15. I was a city slicker and he had shown me a few ropes on the farm. I always remember him for his very upbeat way. Always happy and humorous.

I worked with Keith at HRM a few years ago. I got to know him as he set up my new employees with their phones. There are many stories I could tell about my interactions with Keith but I remember one day in particular. I went back to my desk and my phone wasn’t working so I went straight to the source (I don’t futz with Help Desk’s) and called Keith for assistance. He was very matter of fact indicating that by all he could tell my phone should be working. I continued to stress my point...

I am sorry Mary. I am sorry for the loss of your best friend, husband and lover. No words can bring comfort, no words will help heal, no words will repair the hole in your heart. Just remember your family, friends and God are standing right next to you.

Rob and I had the pleasure of working with Keith at Best Buy. He was a great friend to the both of us and will be greatly missed. His smile will never be forgotten. Our prayers go out to Mary, his family and friends.

I knew Keith for about 10 years, working together at HRM and Best Buy. He always had time to talk, but more importantly time to listen. He made people feel cared about. I'll remember his grin and how it brightened my day. He will be missed! Mary, you're in my thoughts and prayers.

As others have so effectively described Keith's gifts to us, I want to express heartfelt sadness for his passing and Mary's loss. He will truly be remembered forever. God bless you Keith.

I grew up with Keith as a neighbor and friend. We rode the school bus and played as children together for many years. Keith was the first person I knew to take daily insulin shots. Keith is not ill any more. May God rest His Soul.
My condolences to Clarence, Denny, Duane, and especially Gary and Greg. Russell Moline
