Not sure what to say?

I think of Keith often and miss his smarts, wit and presence.

I miss him. His inquisitiveness, his conversation, his joyfulness and humor, speaking his poetry. I miss his presence.

Keith was a good friend when we were in college together at Macalester. I remember him as a lively laughing and kindly spirit. He enriched my life in the time we shared together and I have always been grateful. All of us who knew him are better for his presence in our lives.

Chris, Jon and Nate: One of my first "people" memories when we moved to Minneapolis in 1970 was of your dad. Such a kid-friendly guy with his hearty laugh and big smile. So sorry to hear that he's gone. My sincere condolences.

Sad to hear of Keith's passing. I have fond memories of the seminar I took with him on Nagel's "The View from Nowhere." His charm and humor were always appreciated around old Ford Hall.

Back in the 70's, Garrison Keillor used to read from Keith's 3142 Lyndale Ave. So. on his Morning Show.
I loved it, bought it for all my kids - still love it.
I am so sorry he's gone. What a loss.

So sorry to get this news. Keith was a lively colleague and friend. Best to his family.

My heart goes out to all of Keith's loved ones. Keith was instrumental in my life in my growing up years. He was a great teacher, and a great wit, great writer, but most of all, he had a heart of great depth. I send my love especially to Jonathan who introduced me to his Dad and Sandra when we were just young. Those years are most impressionable. My love to all Gunderson's and their kids, to Sandra and her family. My love to Donna too, who spent a good deal of her life with Keith and...

Dear Christopher and Jonathan: It was wonderful to live so closely to your family (pre-Nate I'm sad to say.) One of the highlights was hanging out with your hilarious dad who was also deeply serious about political issues and other important matters. We all had been protesting Vietnam and I'll never forget the day I ran down to tell him President Johnson decided not to run for reelection. I think we danced in your living room!! He must have been very proud of each of you 3.
