My utmost sympathy to the Hawthorne Family. I was both shocked and saddened to have just learned of Dr Hawthorne's passing. I had intended to finally present him with a gift I had promised some time ago. Never wait when a Friend is involved. Keith was an Amazing Person! He was Absolutely Brilliant and his empathy, compassion and mere presence comforted many patients during their time of need. He treated everyone as an individual... with kindness and respect and always closely listened to...

I am still missing my Dr every day. Although I have a new doctor, it has not been the same. Dr. Hawthorne was so compassionate and caring , I will never forget his kindness. Hope his family knows how much he was admired and respected.

My sincerest and deepest condolences on the passing of Dr. Keith Hawthorne. I will be keeping the entire Hawthorne family, his patients, and all of us who had the pleasure of knowing him in my thoughts and prayers. I had the pleasure of working with him at SBMC before venturing on to medical school. He was truly a pioneer, educator, and all around great guy.
