Keith Honeycutt November 4, 1943 - July 9, 2012 Keith Honeycutt, 68, died on July 9, 2012 in Bakersfield after an extended illness. Keith was a native of Casa Grande, Arizona and was a long time resident of Bakersfield, living here for the last 38 years. He proudly served in the Army from 1966 to 1968 and was a SP 4 in the Blue Platoon, 587th Signal Co Sp 1 in Lai Khe, Vietnam in 1967. He was a member of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union for 22 years. He enjoyed oldies and country music, landscaping, going to the desert, and was artistically creative. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years Phyllis Honeycutt of Bakersfield, his devoted children Gary Honeycutt of Crescent City and Lisa and Bret Etchart of Bakersfield, his sister Deon Green of Maumelle, AR, his uncle Jake Kelley of Nixa, MO, his grandchildren Justin, Corey, and Chasen Etchart, and his faithful dog Toby. I am honored to have known Keith. He was a bright, funny and solid man. He will be missed. My love goes out to you Phyllis..we will all meet again.

Phyllis so sorry to hear about Keith. I think of your family often and remmber the good times we had. I remember how wonderful you and Keith were when we lost Bobbie. If I can do anything please let me know. you are in my prayers.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Keith but I do know and adore his daughter Lisa. You have to be a pretty terrific parent in order to have such a sweet,kind and wonderful daughter. I'm very sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you all.

I am so sorry to hear this news, my heart breaks for you. You have all been on my mind so much the last few years. Keith was a very nice man and I am glad I was able to get to know him when I was younger. Take comfort in knowing he is at peace now.
