NORTH PROVIDENCE,RI -Keith A.Lightfoot, 51, of Carl Avenue died Sunday morning, August 13, 2006 of injuries sustained after being hit by an automobile while walking with his wife on Saturday in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Denise (Demers) Lightfoot.
Born January 20, 1955 in Attleboro, he was a son of Paul Lightfoot of Ft. Pierce, FL and the late Sandra (Langille) Lightfoot and step-son of the late Dorothy M. (Cochrane) Lightfoot. He has been a resident of North Providence the past three years and he grew up in North Attleboro and also lived in Plainville several years.
Keith was a self-employed contractor in Rhode Island and Massachusetts for several years. He graduated from North Attleboro High School in 1972 and received an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University in Providence in 1974.
Keith was an avid fisherman and loved sports, especially baseball. He was devoted to his family and his animals: Naomi, Alex, Molly and Flash.
In addition to his wife of 23 years and father, survivors include a sister, Cheryl Vadala of North Attleboro; four nephews, AJ, Matthew, Mark and Joe; a niece, Lonie; also survived by several sisters and brothers-in-law.
A funeral service will be held at a later date.

Keith, I still can't believe that you are gone. You were taken from us too soon. I will never forget all the good times we had going to the football games with Gramma Braunis or the softball games at Aunt Mary's cookouts. We will all miss you and have some comfort knowing that you have finally been joined with your Mom, Aunt Sandi.

Dear Denise, I was devasted to hear about Keith, and your accident. I am so sorry, and I wish I was there so I could come visit you. My memories of "Uncle" Keith are very warm and loving ones, I remember both of you as having a wonderful impact on me in my youth, and I must thank you for that.
