Armina and family, we are sorry to hear of Keith's passing. Please accept our condolences. We have fond memories of our days at BC Tel and the times shared at the Variety Club. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

I remember Keith from the good old days at The Sun when I approached him with trepidation as I was a neophyte in the newspaper business, and also many years later when I had the privilege of working with him at BC Tel. He was a tough character but underneath all that bluster was a fine gentle man. That's -30- Keith.

Greetings, Matthews Family:
I was a young sportswriter at The Sun in the 1950s and was befriended by Keith, 12 yrs. my senior. I knew his byline from my high school days and was awed. But he was a very down to earth guy who was "just one of the boys," although a quick, talented writer. He also was well coordinated and made it pay! We would roll paper from teletype rolls into balls the size of softballs and tape them with Scotch tape. We then would each throw 25 cents into a kitty and...

Armina and family - we are so sorry to hear of Keith's passing. We have wonderful memories of our days together at BC Tel and Variety Club and we are honoured to have known him. We will always remember his generous spirit and charming ways. Our thoughts are with you and the rest of Keith's family at this most difficult time. He will be missed.

My deepest sympathy on the death of Keith. Your family will all miss him as will his many pals at BC Tel. Thinking of many happy times even though I always lost money playing golf with Keith.
