Not sure what to say?

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. What a shock to our Pitman community and high school. God Bless you all.

Mr Messer was a great teacher and a great person. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Messer family,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. The turnout at the viewings are a testament to just how much of an impact he made on people's lives. He was without a doubt the most influential teacher I have had through all of my years of education. Your family is in our hearts and prayers.

I'm so saddened to hear about Mr. Messer's passing. It's been a long time since I've really known him, but I do remember his smile, wit and intelligence. Out of 13+ years of math - the one year with him was the only fun one! My prayers are with all family and friends. God Bless.

To the Messer family and friends: I am extremely sorry for your loss. Mr. Messer was more than just an amazing math professor. He was a mentor and a role model. It was a privilage and pleasure to have him for two years of math. His dry sense of humor and friendly/helpfull personality made class much more enjoyable. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mrs. Messer and Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time.

To all the family... I am extremely sorry for your loss. Mr. Messer was a wonder teacher and professor that touched many lives. I will truly miss him!

Mr. Messer was a great person with one of the most intelligent minds that I've ever witnessed. After having him for 2 years in a row, his love for math rubbed off on me and made me decide to follow the same career path he did. I'm really going to miss him a lot, and it's really disheartening that I can't go back and visit him at the high school in the future to tell him how my college math classes are going. Mr. Messer, thank you for teaching me through your genius for two years. It's...

Mr. Messer was a great teacher and great man, he will be missed by many.
