February 19, 1947 – July 1, 2025Keith dedicated his life to craft, thought, and beauty. Over the course of his career, he laid more than 4,000 tons of stone by hand, each piece placed with care, precision, and quiet reverence. Not sure what to say?

I worked in the propane industry, so naturally I would see Keith on some jobs as well as setting his home up and keeping his stoves operational. It was more than a working relationship as he always called me "friend" as he did with others, and meant it. I loved his little home as it was a pleasure to see someone live life that was true to himself.

We had spent many, many awesome times with Keith over the years and he was such a unique, interesting and loving guy. We will always remember the fun times with him. His stories and adventures were so much fun to hear. He will be in our hearts forever and missed alot.

Go rest high on the mountain my friend, your earthly work is thru. Your laughter, sense of humor and your hat, will be forever tucked away in my heart. Much sadness on your passing. Your legacy lives on in your art.

Mr Keith was a good friend with a huge heart. He never met a stranger and had so many experiences to share. I'll miss him for eternity. Godspeed Mr Keith I know you're out there in the stratosphere

Keithos was a dear friend to our family for 25 years. He will be greatly missed...

I only knew Keith in his last 8 or 10 years. As we all know ,he was a One of Kind / Broke the Mold type guy. I had many wonderful times with Keith in Lawrence,Kansas City, and his "True " home the Flint Hills. I miss you my dear friend. It was my honor to have crossed your path in Life. Keep telling your stories !! Happy Trails !!

Avi, way back in the day, I remember your mom Gigi. We were kind of hanging out some. It was during that time that she became pregnant with you. Knowing your mom, knowing Keith, I knew that baby came from GREAT genes and would become one heck of a great person, like his parents. Peace and love to you and your mom, and all of Keith`s family and friends.

Through the decades I´d see Keith rarely, always by happenstance and every time it was as though no time had passed. His combination of genius, warmth and humility was always refreshing, even inspiring.
