Keith "Bumpy" Myers

Keith "Bumpy" Myers, aged 71, passed suddenly, but peacefully surrounded by family on April 2, 2021. He leaves behind his wife Patty Ghory Myers and 3 kids: Amy (Nick) CaJacob, Gordon (Mia) Myers and Molly Myers as well as 5 grandkids (Ella, Ruth & Lee CaJacob and Oliver & Charlie Myers) and a 6th grandchild due late summer. He also leaves behind 2 grandogs, one brother Corky (Harriet) Myers & Karyn (Jeff) Toms who was like a daughter to him. He had a big and gentle heart, a passion for sailing and was a gifted builder. He had a sick sense of humor, made a mean margarita and will be missed by so many. A Celebration of Life will be held this summer. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to UC Health Foundation in his name.

Not sure what to say?

Patty ... I sincerely regret that I did not stay in touch with you and Keith. He was a dear friend, college roommate, best man and confident. I still smile when I hear him admonishing me for not following instructions when we went sailing. My sincerest condolences to you and the Myers family. I am so sorry.

To all the family.
My sincerest condolences.
So much loved your Dad and his nature about life. Very kind, genuine, loving, humble and a lot of fun to hang out with.
May God bless all of you during this difficult time.

Martha Wenstrup

We were so saddened to hear of Keith’s passing.
Keith was always happy to see you and looked forward to sharing updates about his kids, which he was so very proud of!
Our prayers are with Patty and Family.
May the dear Lord keep you close during this challenging time.

A few things I knew about Bumpy.
He adored and loved his wife and family more than anything. He would shine with pride while sharing pictures of them. He would light up and when telling me of his building and boat projects. He would laugh till he cried when telling stories of his grandkids adventures at Nana camp! He gave the best marriage, life, and cooking advice.

I am honored to have known and been able to spend so much time during our training sessions over the last 5...
