Not sure what to say?

Dearest Larry, Patty & The Pettit Family: Our hearts and love are with you at this time and for all of our time to follow. I offer you this poem and hope it will bring you some light and understanding.

All is Well.

Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I, and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference in...

In thinking back about our youth, growing up in the Ann Arbor area there were many people that influenced the people that we are today as adults. Our friends are key and for over 35 years Dave Pettit has remained my friend. When we first met in 1968 I remember first visiting the Pettit home on Packard. Mr. and Mrs. Pettit welcomed me to their family and made me feel at home. Yes the card games, the camping trips and many great memories of a good family I hold today. Thank you Mr. Pettit for...

Our thougths and prayers are with you.
From all the house keepers at American House Carpenter.

I'm sorry, Dave, Louie, Kandi, Laura and Gary, about the death of your Dad, father-in-law and grandfather. I remember meeting him at a graduation open house for one of you. I was impressed by his great sense of humor, and love for his family. My father once told me that a person's greatest legacy is their children. Your Dad must be proud.

I have truly missed Mr Pettit for a while now. He would always smile at me when I brought his mail. He was a very kind person to me. I was his mail lady for the last 4 years.I'm sorry for your loss.

My first Camel unfiltered cigarette (I am still dizzy) was smoked in the Pettit home. And oh yes!!! The card games!!! 2 handed hearts, Euchre and many other games that my memory cannot recall were played at the Pettit home. The Pettit home on Packard...
