Not sure what to say?

To Joyce - my deepest sympathy - you can always count on me. - Daniela

To Joyce, Gavin and Brendan, My heart goes out to you. I always remember Keith grumbling and hilarious in the corner but also welcoming and loving. Joyce, lovely and warm hearted. We had our little corner of the world in Mill Valley. Gavin, the cool and promising older brother who fulfilled all those promises. And old Bren...of course, too much to say. I hope you are celebrating Keith's life, all the gifts he gave - and that you are there for each other in this time of grief. - love, Daniela

Keith was a state-of-the-art editor, reporter and writer - the witty mensch I always deeply admired as his colleague in the 1960s and 1970s.

We were honored to have you both as dear friends through the last 20 years and will always remember his humor and insightful opinions.

For the past several years Keith and his lovely wife Joyce have been our neighbors and good friends. It is not easy to imagine life without Keith's droll observations and his singular sense of humor. It was chiefly those attributes, among many others, that helped to leaven the societal difficulties of the past couple of years for Keith's many friends. We will miss him.

One of the best.

Dear Joyce, I'm sorry to hear of your loss.

Joyce I'm sorry for your loss.
