Mr. Pruitt will be missed. He has done so much for me. He has opened my eyes to writing and the world of English. He took his time on me and pushed me to excellence. If it wasn't for him I may not of graduated. I definitely wouldn't have a poetry book waiting to be published. Thank you mr. Pruitt.

My fondest memory of Keith is from a rainy summer weekend in the Blue Ridge Mountains. A soulful rendition of Amazing Grace set to the Eagle's "Peaceful Easy Feeling" and the beautiful sounds of my Father's acoustic guitar and Keith's 12 string wonder. He was so loved, by our family and ,now for eternity, by our Heavenly Father and our beloved savior.

Mr. Pruitt was a large influence in my life about four years ago when I knew him and he was my teacher. He taught me so much about the joy that knowing the Lord brings, and his was just so contagious. I admired his infectious love for Jesus and his wisdom that he was so willing to share with his students. I loved to hear him praise Jesus and play his guitar and how he prayed. I am so thankful that he chose to share what he had been reading and learning with us and truly cared about the souls...

What an education this obit was for a friend of his mother's and sisters, who had only known him as a child. Being deprived by death of his mother at a very early age, I'm sure must have made him extra nurturing and loving toward his own children, giving them what he didn't have (and every child deserves). I live in...

Keith Pruitt was a wonderful English teacher who inspired his students to write their best and expand their minds in classical literature. I will also remember his wonderful smile. He will truly be missed.

I had the chance to get to know Keith many years ago at Kents Hill School in Maine. Keith always had a smile on his face and something nice to say. Years later we connected on multiple occasions at reunions. There was a gentleness to Keith that was evident the first time that I had met him many years ago. As people grow older , usually they change and "harden".. Keith was the same gentle soul that I met years ago when I conversed with him years later at the reunions. My Sincere...
