Keith Alan Thomas

Keith A. Thomas of BelAir died July 31 at Perry Point VAMC. He was 30. Born in McKeesport, PA he is the son of Neil D. Thomas and his wife Karen of Schererville, IN and Deborah A. (Oldland) Thomas of Aberdeen. Mr. Thomas had been superintendent of Erickson Retirement Communities before being deployed to Afghanistan with the Army Reserves, having served in Operation Enduring Freedom. In addition to his parents he survived by his wife of eight years, Sherri A. (Schriefer) Thomas; his children, Konner A., Karsen A., Savanah A., and Shyann A. Thomas all of BelAir; brother Bryan D. Thomas and his wife Lee of Lafayette, IN; step brothers Bobby C. Phares of Los Angles, CA and Danny E. Phares of Phoenix, AZ, step sister Becky Phares of Schererville, IN; his father and mother-n-law John and Pat Schriefer, brother-in-law, John Schriefer, II, and his sister-in-law Wendi Whittle and her husband Chris along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 4 from 3-5 and 7-9pm at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home where funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 5 at 10:00am. Contributions may be made to the Thomas' children in care of any Bank of America, checks are to be payable to Savanah Thomas.
