Bro. Keith R. Vaughn, age 38, of Glenwood, died Wednesday, January 7, 2004.

He was born on December 12, 1965 at Nashville, Arkansas, the son of Don Vaughn and Ruth Young Vaughn. On January 31, 1986, he was married to Deborah Howard.

He was a pastor of the Mount Tabor Free Holiness Church in Glenwood and former pastor of the House of Prayer, Blair, Oklahoma, Mount Vernon Holiness Church, Oklahoma City, and Paden Holiness Church, Paden, Oklahoma. He was a former evangelist for seven years and was a former employee of Cooper Tires in Texarkana.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Vaughn; one son, Myron Vaughn; two daughters, Kari Vaughn and Hannah Vaughn all of Glenwood; his parents, Don and Ruth Vaughn of Umpire; one brother, Scott Vaughn of Glenwood; and two sisters, Annette Morris of Nashville and Donna Cox of Hot Springs.

Services will be held at 2:30 PM, Saturday, January 10, 2004 in the Glenwood First Church of the Nazarene.

Interment will be in the Mount Tabor Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.

Visitation will be Friday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, in the Glenwood First Church of the Nazarene.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mount Tabor Free Holiness Church, 35 Pigeon Roost Road, Glenwood, Arkansas 71943.

Hey my friend Im sitting here today remembering you and wishing we could visit a while. I miss you buddy! I pulled out the black flex hat you gave me probably 25 years ago . Yep still got it. It’s so hard to believe it’s been almost 20 years since you left this world. Wish my grandson Austin Stewart could have known you. He and Myron are friends and like to play music together. Bye until we meet again.

20 long years without you I still remember you just as you were I'm sure your looks would have changed just like like the rest of us. Lol. Wish you could have been here christmas we had 39 Kevin couldn't come he had to work our family has really grown. Hey sweetheart! In 5 more days it will be 20 long years since you left this old world. Our little family has grown so much. Five precious granddaughters and 1 grandson. You would be so proud of each one of them.
They were all here for Christmas and it gave me so much joy watching them all playing games and making memories.
These grandkids ask me questions about you all the time. I sure wish they had been able to meet you.

Keith never met a stranger, he loved everyone.. Oh how I miss his laughter, his joking and especially his blonde jokes he always had for me.. Love and miss you Keith.... He sings with the Angels now..❤
