Not sure what to say?

Keith, when you called and tried referring me to your friend, and explained that you were sick, I gave you a friendly hard time and explained that you werent getting rid of me that easy!! I told you I would wait for you to get better and we would resume our talks. Well my friend I just found out last night that you have passed and I feel pretty lousy that I did not know this earlier in the summer. I kept wishful thinking that you would call me this fall, after both our busy summers and say...

My friend, my mentor and the one I could always confide in. I will miss our talks and the feeling of peace you would give me as I left your office each time over the past 20+ years. There are no words to describe the thankfulness I feel having had the honor of your presence in my life. You were an amazing, intuitive and caring man that helped me in my darkest times. God Bless You my friend. You are and always will be deeply missed.

Rest in peace knowing that so many of us are...

I did not know you, but I thank you for giving my friend the insight, courage, and hope to put one foot in front of the other.

Keith will be missed and remembered by the hundreds of people he helped.
My condolences to his family at this sad time.

I knew Keith as the deeply compassionate and insightful man who supported my dad through thick and thin. And I, too, found some refuge and peace with his kind ear and warm smile on several lucky occasions. Thank you, Keith, for sharing with me some stories I will never forget about my dad-- and with you, many more will go to sleep.

I send deep condolences to all of Keith's loved ones. He was a beautiful soul, I'm sure made more beautiful by your presence in his life.

Keith Carter was a wise and kind spirit whose seeking improved the lives of so many people, and the community in which he lived and served. I am grateful for Keith and will miss him.

Keith was one of the most gentle and kind-hearted people I have ever met. You will always be remembered my friend.

Keith was a source of support and inspiration to me through many years, including through some of the most difficult emotional times of my life. He was intelligent, sensitive, and caring. But beyond that he was a brave soul who was willing to go both to the brightest and the darkest places of the psyche in search of truth and experience, or to help others.

Like so many others, I will miss him deeply.
