Not sure what to say?

His bass playing was extraordinary. Bozeman was lucky to have him, when he wasn't traveling worldwide. We miss him.

All of my love and condolences to the wife and family of our friend and treasure Kelly. His father was also my fifth grade band teacher and told me to go to the magazine store and buy a publication called "Downbeat." The jazz gene ran srong. May Kelly continue to play with the best in his journey beyond. Love, aloha, and good Keanu. Your friend, Dulce Drysdale

I'm very grateful and fortunate to have seen Kelly play. I trust that he's jammin' in the great beyond. My condolences to his family.

Got my first A in music from Kelly's dad in fifth grade. The couple of times I found myself behind the drums when he was the bassist was like playing with Jaco. Rhythm , melody and harmony in three rocket ships. Sad to say good bye.

I am so sorry for the loved one. Please find peace and comfort in Psalms 119:76.

Our deepest sympathy to you, Mary Lee and Yae, and all his family and friends. We remember all his promotion of jazz, from the early Blues and Jazz Society, through Jazz Montana, through his bringing so many " jazz greats" to our little town of Bozeman. We felt so fortunate as he shared his talent with us. He was respected around the world, and left us too soon. May he rest in peace.

RIP old friend. Peace and love to your lovely wife Yae.
