We often meaure a person's life by their accomplishments, rather than by the lives they have touched. Not only was Kelly very accomplished, she touched our lives. Born May 19, 1986 to Anna Schreiber and Dr. Robert Stack, Kelly was academically advanced, artistically gifted, and a natural leader....

Not sure what to say?

I did not know her very well, but Kelly touched my life so much that it still brings tears to my eyes four years later when I see the reminder that today is her birthday on my facebook page. Now that I am in graduate school, with a very successful career, and about to get married, I wish that she were still here so that we could share stories. She was a great storyteller and willing listener and happy to share a conversation with anyone. I hope her family understands that she is deeply missed...

Dear Bob and Anna,

Words cannot describe the profound sorrow we have as we’ve learned of your precious Kelly’s passing. One of Bob’s patients, also a patient of Joe’s, informed us just the other day. Anna, I remember Kelly so well as a lovely child and see that she grew up to be an incredible, beautiful and gifted young woman. Although her life was short, she lived it fully and gave so much back. How proud you must be of her!
I know she smiles down and knows that one day you will...

Dear Kelly's Family,

I was so saddened to recently find out about Kelly's death. Though we had not talked for a while and I am so far away I thought of her and your wonderful family often. I was blessed to have known Kelly. She was one of the rare people you meet in life that are true angels in this world. My memory of her big smile and even bigger heart and her unmatchable kindness made her someone who we should all aspire to be more like. When you are ready please contact...

Mads BD party

To Kelly's family-

I only knew Kelly for a year and a half, but in that time she became one of my closest friends. Kelly was a gift to this world, an incredibly talented and intelligent woman who taught me so much about joy. I will always have so many beautiful memories of Kelly, and it breaks my heart to know I will not get to make more with her. My thoughts are with your family now.

At Mad's birthday

Dear Stack Family,
I remember Kelly as a shy beautiful young girl who was just blossoming into herself. She reminded us that kindness could always stretch farther than any words.

-I give you this one thought to keep
I am with you still – I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of...

It was always really nice to go to my 8:00am newspaper journalism class and see a smile every morning on Kelly's face. Although I did not know her for very long, I knew she was just an amazing person. She seemed to have a way of opening me and others up to love. I remember spending a late night with her and the other editor, Jen. Kelly was always bringing food for us just because she wanted to share. She touched my life in a very meaningful way and I was shocked as well as heartbroken...
