Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home Obituary

Kelly Sue Sutton O'Malley, 59, a resident of Newton Township, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, March 3, 2024 after bravely battling pancreatic cancer for two years.

Kelly, fondly known as "sis," was the cherished eldest daughter of Sue Enscoe Sutton and the late Keith Allen Sutton.  A graduate of Abington Heights High School, Kelly dedicated over three decades to her career as a phlebotomist before her illness. An ardent football enthusiast, Kelly found joy in cheering for Penn State and the Dallas Cowboys. She also had a passion for fishing and her faithful companion, Sammy. However, her greatest happiness stemmed from time spent with her family, particularly her son, nieces, and nephews, whom she supported wholeheartedly throughout their lives.

Kelly is survived by her beloved son, Jordan O'Malley, who illuminated her world, as well as her brother John Sutton and his wife Ellen of Newton Township, sisters Kim Gray and her husband Travis of Davenport, FL, and Stacey Urban and her husband Eugene of New Milford. She also leaves behind her goddaughter, Amber Minick, and a cherished aunt, Carolyn Sutton O'Dell.

Kelly is preceded in death by her father, Keith Sutton, and her nieces Carlee and Holly Sutton.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Kondash for his exceptional care during Kelly's illness.

In honoring Kelly's memory, services will be held privately, with arrangements entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.

Kelly. I will miss us joking with each other the most. My memories of you are fond ones as I was growing up. I’m sure you’re fishing with Uncle Keith right now. I wish I got to call you “Aunt Kelly” one more time just to see you hold your fist up at me and laugh. God bless.

I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of Kelly,
I have many memories when we were young at Sutton reunions and swimming at
Cards Lake are just a few.
I would like to send my deepest condolences to the entire Sutton family.
