Not sure what to say?

Thank you to all family and friends of my son Kelly Ray, who passed from this life just 30 days ago. Such grief and sadness and bursts of sorrow I have never experienced. Thank you for your coming to say good bye to Kelly on Tue. night, to the cemetary on Fri. morning, and to the lunch at Mom's after the gathering. Your support, every one of you, has been greatly appreciated. A special " Thanks " to my dearest friend, Carolyn; my supervisor at DHS, Dawn; Lois, for the roses; Elaine, for...

I was so saddened when I heard about Kelly. My prayers are with the family and friends left behind. I have such great memories of Kelly, Betsy, and Ken when we were all kids in Big Rapids. I can't think of a time when Kelly wasn't smiling. May the Peace of Christ be with you.

As a "post services" note Lois and I, Kelly's Aunt and Uncle would like to say a word of thanks to all of Kelly's friends who came so far for the services. From Ohio, Indiana, Florida and others. It was a great testament to Kelly and his family just what kind of a person Kelly was. Thank-You.

Although I haven't seen or spoken to Kelly in over three years, I always have fond memories when thinking of him. His smile and good nature will be greatly missed. To Kelly's family, I wish you peace and God's love and strength during this trying time.

I just wish we could go back to trading baseball cards and playing catch again.

Last night at the funeral home I saw a lot of people crying. I also saw a lot of people telling stories about things they had done with Kelly and laughing. That is how he would want us to remember him. He would want us all to keep these memories alive in our hearts and chuckle or smile when we think of him. I will always remeber the sound of his voice saying "Hi Sue, how ya doin'?" and the outstretched arms for a hug whenever I would see him. Kelly was truly a wonderful guy and he will be...

I've never felt so far away from home as I did friday night when I got the news of Kelly's passing. I wish I could be there to grieve with all of you who loved Kelly. My thoughts are with you all.

Rest In Peace KT

Dear Carolyn & Ken,
We are thinking about you, wishing you both the strength to cope with the loss of a much loved son.
God bless.
