GILLARD Graveside Funeral Service for Mr. Kelsey Gillard will be held at 1PM, TUESDAY, March 16, 2004 in Edgewood Cemetery, with Rev. Odell Smith, Jr., Pastor of Second Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. Mr. Gillard of 5406 Dakota Dr. passed away February 22, 2004 in Lake City, FL. A Jacksonville native, Mr. Gillard was employed as a Machine Operator by Anchor Hocking Glass, Inc. until he retired in 1990 after 30 years of dedicated service. Other affiliations include WWII and Korean Conflict Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his sons, Donald Sullivan (Patricia), Gill Gillard (Shantel), Torris Gillard (Michele), Angus Newton, Akhenaton Hall, and Abeokuta Hall; daughter, Ms. Sharika A. Gillard and Ms. Tammie Gates; sisters, Ms. Mary G. Portela and Ms. Corine Smith (Gene); brother, Louis Gillard; caregiver, Mrs. Lillian Gillard; special cousin, Purcell Brantley; a number of other relatives and friends. Mr. Gillard will rest in the mortuary for visitation of friend s MONDAY from 5PM until 8PM.
