Not sure what to say?

Wow....What a loss. I know time flys. Speaking of flys. Mr Keeper took a special interest in my fly tying. He asked if i would bring in my collection to see. When i did...he laughed...these are so much better then what i buy in the stores.. I will buy them all from you! I did not expect that. I had not idea what they were worth. so he handed me $30 bucks...to me at the time sounded like a great deal. Everytime i saw in the hallway i would ask if you used them yet. His reply....I am saving...

I was fortunate to have Mr. Keefer as a teacher, and I´ll always remember the impact he had on me. Not only did I learn so much in his class, but I also had the opportunity to go on the high school DC trip with him in the late 90s. Mr. Keefer had a truly special way of teaching. His great sense of humor and engaging style made his class one I looked forward to. He had a gift for making learning enjoyable and meaningful, and that´s something I´ll never forget. My heartfelt condolences go...

He was the best teacher. I am a republican because of him! I´ll never forget him! He made us get so involved in his class. I had him for 2 hours in a row. Government & international relations. RIP Mr. Keefer!

My favorite teacher! I´m so sorry for your loss. He was absolutely fantastic as an educator and will be missed.

I went on two Close Up trips with Mr. Keefer. One of my favorite teachers at RHS. My condolences to the family.

Mr. Keefer was my 12th grade Sociology II teacher at Rockford H S in the 1970-71 school year, my only year at Rockford. He was a great teacher because he focused on class discussion and debate rather than the lecture only style of most Social Studies teachers of that time. I really enjoyed his class as he had great interaction with the students and a good sense of humor in his presentation. He also had mastery of his subject matter. He was an all around excellent teacher. My deepest...

Thank you, Mr Keefer for your kindness and teaching me how to shoot a free throw
