Ken Berry (1933 – 2018) starred in the sitcom "F Troop" in the 1960s. Berry played Captain Parmenter on the Western themed sitcom for two years. He had a recurring role on the last season of "The Andy Griffith Show" as widowed farmer Sam Jones. That character was spun off to star on "Mayberry R.F.D.," which ran from 1968 until 1971. He brought so many laughs to my family in the Mama's Family series. He was a talented actor and knowing that he is gone is very sad to all of us. Our condolences to his family.

To the Family of Ken Berry; Iam deeply sorry to hear about Ken's passing he was really funny and I love his blue eyes, he was a great actor as well, I loved him on Mamma's Family and on F~Troop. He will be sorely missed by everyone. RIP Ken Berry

Even though did not know the actor enjoy watching him on Tv .it was joy to laugh.May the memories bring comfort and soothe the pain uplifting bringing joy. That others want to share with you at this time of sorrow. hm
