Not sure what to say?

My brothers and I all got our first haircuts with Kenny and continued getting the "Kenny Cut" well into our teenage years. My father would not let anyone else cut his hair but Ken. He was a San Marino Institution. May God Bless Kenny and his family.

I went to the shop this afternoon, Saturday, Nov. 2, to find the sad notice of your beloved Ken's death. The Bolton family has been an institution in San Marino for well over 60 years of which I am aware. I was a regular at Ken's brother, Jim's, shop on Huntington Drive until I left for college in 1960, and sometimes thereafter. I remember the long waits for flat tops and cherry bombs under the waiting customer's chairs. I think I remember that Jim's Dad was on Mission but never went. ...

SYMPATHY TO THE BOLTON FAMILY. Ken was a master barber--I was a customer for only three years--he was old school, WWII veteran, did not speak a lot, but had definite opinions and was well informed. We discussed local history and also Ojai history. I will miss his good care. He was a good family man, and enjoyed his boat down at Newport. He'll be missed by all in San Marino

We are sad to have read about your loss. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. May God give comfort and endurance. Keep faith.
