Ken Braswell
Ken Braswell, age 71 of Lascassas, died Thursday, January 23, 2014.
He was a native of Alabama and was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gayle Braswell and his parents, Buren and Lovie Dunlap Braswell. Mr. Braswell was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was retired from Bridgestone in LaVergne. He was known as Poppy by his grandchildren whom he loved and adored. Mr. Braswell was an avid collector of music, especially vinyl records, and an avid fan of the Crimson Tide Alabama Football. ROLL TIDE.
He is survived by his daughters, Stacey Newby and husband, Michael of Murfreesboro, Shelly Braswell of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Christan "C.J." Newby, Nicholas Newby and Abigal Newby; brothers, Ronnie Braswell and wife Shirley of Alabama, and Randy Braswell and wife Debbie of Alabama; long time companion, Veronica Cannon of Smyrna and her children, Vickie Morgan of Nashville, and Terry Patrick of Nashville; also a host of nieces; nephews; and other family and friends.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Republican Grove Cemetery with Military Honors.

Met Ken at the Wellness Center at St. Thomas Rutherford. Very likeable person and looked forward t seeing and talking with him especially about his collection of vinyl. Did not know until today about his passing. Was quite a shock. He will be missed.

Mr. B. was a customer of Heritage Cleaners when I worked there he was such a nice person always nice to us, I'm so sorry for your loss as he was a wonderful person.
